The statistical data of Latin American countries and the data of sociological survey of Russian-speaking migrants in Brazil and Argentina are analysed. Estimates of the size of the Russian-speaking population in key Latin American countries are given. The role of Internet communications in the adaptation and consolidation of Russian-speaking migrants in the context of the idea of forming a "Russian-speaking social space" is highlighted.
