The Covid-19 pandemic has had an immense impact on labour markets and workers' working conditions around the world and in Israel. Among other things, it exposed many of the problematic aspects in this field of temporary migrant worker's programs. In the talk, I will focus on Thai agricultural migrant workers and will examine their pre-pandemic regulations and explore their acute effects during the pandemic.
